What we collect
When you sign in and play with us, we store:
- Your Steam ID, display name, and avatar (from Steam sign-in).
- Your Discord user ID and display name (when you link your account).
- Match data — team, side, scores, per-round events, demos.
- Derived stats — ratings, leaderboard placements, win rates.
- Connection metadata from our game servers (IP, ping, session timestamps).
How we use it
Match data, stats, and account identifiers power the league: PUG matchmaking, team rosters, leaderboards, the Hall of Fame, and anti-cheat / anti-abuse review. We do not sell data, run ads, or share it with anyone outside the providers listed below.
Third parties we rely on
- Steam — sign-in and account identity.
- Discord — account linking, community access, notifications.
- Our hosting provider — runs the database and web servers.
- Error tracking — receives anonymised error reports when the site fails.
Retention
Match history and stats are retained indefinitely — they are the point of the league record. If you want your account and the personal identifiers attached to it removed, contact us (see below). Match results in which you participated will remain in the record, but personal identifiers (Steam name, Discord handle) will be anonymised.
Contact
For data requests, corrections, or deletion, reach out via the Support page or in the WACS Discord.
Changes
If we change what we collect or how we use it, we’ll update this page and bump the effective date at the top.
