WACS — Western Australian Counter-Strike — exists to give Perth’s CS scene a place to play serious games against people they recognise. We run pick-up games on dedicated servers, organise seasonal ladders and one-off tournaments, and maintain match histories, player ratings and team rosters for everyone who’s played a competitive game with us.
How the league runs
Players join via Discord and link their Steam accounts. Once linked, they can sign up for upcoming PUGs, look for a team for tournaments, or just track their match history and stats. Matches run on our own CS2 servers; results, demos and ratings are recorded automatically.
Tournaments run on top of the same infrastructure — captains draft teams from the player pool, lineups lock for the duration of the event, and matches play out on a published schedule.
Credits
WACS is run by a small group of volunteers who organise matches, maintain the servers, write the software, and keep the Discord running. Names and roles to follow.
WACS is non-commercial and run on goodwill. If you’d like to help, reach out in Discord.
